My family moved to the United States from Laos in 1984. I grew up in Auburn, WA, and pursued my education at the University of Washington for my undergraduate studies before completing my graduate degree at the University of Maryland (UMUC) and Westwood College. As an artist, I love to express myself through various creative avenues, including oil painting, writing books, graphic design, and crafting custom wedding flowers. Initially, I created floral arrangements for family and friends; after making the flowers for my own wedding, I found that there were no more weddings within my network. This encouragement led me to share my artistry with the public. For me, creating floral arrangements is a form of meditation, a practice rooted in Asian traditions. I have designed custom wedding flowers and provided flower altar rentals for over 100 weddings in the greater Seattle area. However, I prefer a boutique approach, serving only a couple of weddings each month. I send prayers of loving gratitude to every couple I assist.
